Class description

PRANAYAMA AND MEDITATION

30-60 minutes

All levels

Class that seeks to emphasize our relationship with the practice of Prāṇāyāma (breathing exercises) and Kriyā (Meditation) to understand the profoundeffect that breathing has on an energetic and mental level, preparing us for meditation. Increase your ability to focus your attention, to stay present. Access the part of your mind beyond the intellect and its constant movement and touch a part of you that is always at peace. Depending on the lenth of the class, there will be a shorter or longer gentle warm-up.

RESTORATIVE

60-90 minutes

All Levels

Complete practice of traditional Haṭha with a slower, restorative approach, in which the standing poses will be omitted. We will use various props as supports for the body during Āsana (postures) mostly on the floor and held for a longer. It serves as an introduction to subtler energetic aspects of the practice as well as to help body and mind rest in a state of stillness in preparation for Prāṇāyāma and Meditation. Ideal for everyone at any given moment. Who doesn't need more rest?

HATHA YOGA (Moon · Sun · Fire)

Beginner, Intermediate and advanced

Complete practice of traditional Haṭha with Āsana (Postures), Prāṇāyāma (Breathing) and Kriyā (Meditation). Classes are categorized in Moon, to calm and stabilize; Sun, to refine and direct our energy and Fire, to transform and transcend. Vinyāsa Krama (Wise Progression) is followed in sequencing to help the student experience the class effect from beginning to end. Bandha (Energetic lock), Kumbhaka (Retention during Prāṇāyāma) and Mantra might be used depending on the class type and the student knowledge.

YOGA NIDRA

60 minutes

The practice of Yoga Nidrā or Conscious Sleep is a deep relaxation technique. It will guide you into a state beyond being awake, asleep and dreaming. Excellent relaxation technique, it reduces fatigue and stress and improves the quality of sleep. Yoga Nidrā promotes the body's natural regenerative processes, improves the immune system, and our cognitive capacity. It allows inner homeostasis integrating body, mind and consciousness. It is practiced lying on the back, covered by a blanket to keep warmth, eyes covered to decrease visual stimulus and increase internal focus

ASANA FLOW

60-90 minutes

Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

Dynamic class to open, strengthen and purify the body, to enliven and move out of stagnation and to build awareness to the connection between body, breath and mind. The focus is on alignment and body sensation in Āsana to avoid injuries and in mastering a smooth gapless breath, in movement and stillness. Classes are sequenced according to Vinyāsa Krama (wise progression). This practices are often the starting point for many students seeking to increase their well-being. From there, interest in deeper and more meaningful ones is sparked. Class includes Āsana, Prāṇāyāma and Meditation.

PRIVATES: ONE ON ONE OR IN GROUP

First Class:

On the first class the interests and needs of the student/ group will be stablished

Class: 1.5h Rate: 55 euros

Regular Classes:

After the first class the schedule will be set (number of classes/month and date/time)

Payments will be made on a monthly basis within the first week of the month.

Classes will be booked as a Monthly Pass:

- 4 Class Monthly Pass: 200 euros

- 8 Class Monthly Pass: 400 euros

*If there's any holiday and class cannot be rescheduled, or that said month has 5/9 classes, appropriate adjustments will be mande and referenced on the invoice at the beginning of said month
